Moving to tumblr…

You may have noticed… I’ve moved from the old “alan.clegg.com” blog to using tumblr.

I’m tired of doing my own administration — in the old days, it was fun to install applications, follow updates, keep things working… and then things got complex.

Database back-ends, anti-spam code, tons of dependencies that I had to maintain if I wanted everything to continue working (safely).

Tumblr seems to be a good combination of all the things that I want without the need to maintain the backend processes.

The old site is still out there, and I reserve the right to return to it, but right now, I’ll give tumblr a try.

[BTW, I’ve also out-sourced e-mail.. thanks Google…]
